LeftyLu
Is it even possible to learn to play guitar after 50? Electric guitar? Hello, Jimi, it's me - LeftyLu - and I've always wanted to play guitar. Will you help me?

Baby's home.
After endless - ok it lasted a week, but if felt longer - drama, Baby has arrived. Next step - a guitar teacher. In the mean time, I have signed up on GuitarTricks.com and am following their lessons. I have successfully completed lesson 1: how to hold a pick. I believed I have accomplished a great deal in a relatively short amount of time. I look forward to lesson 2: how to sit.

So, this is how it starts.
For the first time in my life, I'm getting a lefty guitar thus ending the decades of frustration that started in Grade 6 with Mr. Bruce's guitar class when I only had a right-handed guitar and could not get past 'House of the Rising Sun' and 'Red River Valley'. Right-handed guitars are the work of Satan in many ways, however, my grief and angst over not being able to play them may just have lead to my love of reeds - accordion, anyone?
